Welcome To Women's Ministry

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

Titus 2:3-5

Ladies Bible Study -

Fridays, 1:30 to 2:50 p.m. in the Ladies' Classroom

Please join us for our Friday afternoon Bible study in the Ladies' classroom just outside the worship center.  You are welcome to join at any time during the session.

The first topic in January 2019 is True Woman 201: Interior Design - 10 Elements of Biblical Womanhood (from the True Woman series of studies).

When we step into God’s plan for womanhood, we step into the great adventure of discovering who we’re created to be. The greatest display of God’s glory, the greatest wholeness of personhood, the greatest joy of human relationships, and the greatest fruitfulness in ministry come about when we embrace and celebrate His design.

We discuss scripture, we get to know one another, we laugh - we may even cry a bit!  It's sure to be a wonderful time.  Come join us as we explore God's best design for our lives!

Ladies Summer Night Out with

Rachel Norris

6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Rachel Norris, Master Potter and owner of Joy Pottery in Bryan, TX, shares her testimony with a pottery demonstration:  A testimony of God's grace, mercy and redeeming love demonstrated through Jesus Christ. Rachel uses the pottery making process to illustrate these biblical truths, and is returning to First Baptist Church in Chappell Hill, TX for our Ladies Summer Night Out on June 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

We hope you can join us as Rachel uses her pottery talent to relate the Christian experience and life to the Potter creating beautiful and useful vessels.  Rachel owns Joy Pottery, where she creates functional and decorative clay products. She travels with her wheel, giving personal testimony of brokenness and redemption. “Don’t rest in a place of potential and comfort,” she tells her audiences. As the broken pieces in the process of pottery attest to refinement and progress, so our ‘broken pieces’ are testimonies of God’s grace.

Please come join us as we listen to this powerful testimony of redemption and grace.

Please join us

for our

Ladies Night of Prayer

May 9th, 2019

6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

In the parlor

(just outside the worship center)

Please join us for this energizing time of fellowship, testimony, worship and prayer.  It's one of the sweetest times we share!  All women are welcome.

About Women's Ministry

A Word From Our Director

The Women’s Ministry of FBCCH exist to support the overall mission at FBCCH by:

  • Encouraging women with a sense of belonging to God and to each other, enabling each of us to become all we are to be in Christ, and equipping us to bless others with the love, grace, and truth of Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 4:11-12)
  • Sharing Christ with those who do not know Him, strengthen Christian women who do, and mentor our young women, bringing together women of all ages and stages to provide encouragement, prayer, and guidance, ever in mind of our great commission to ‘go and make disciples.’ (Matthew 28:19-20)
  • Loving like Jesus!

Join Us

Ladies Bible Studies

Look for announcements about our studies beginning in 2019!  We meet at the church for a sweet time of fellowship.  We pray, we play, we discuss deep thoughts, and we study.  What more could you ask for?!   You are welcome and loved!  We'd enjoy hearing your ideas on topics of interest to you.

Ladies Night of Prayer

Once each quarter, we gather together as ladies for a sweet night of testimony, fellowship, and prayer.  We have the time of testimony shared by one of our ladies (Is the Lord calling you to share yours? - Let us know!), followed by a time of prayer.  We would love to have you join us for this sweet time with our Lord!  All Christian women are welcome!

Ladies Night Out

During various seasons (twice in summer!), we gather together as ladies for an impactful night of fellowship.  Sometimes we have speakers, sometimes meals, sometimes crafts...    well, the opportunities are endless!  Look for information on the next gathering at the top of this site, or on our calendar.

We want to hear from you!

We want to reach out to all women - all ages, all stages of life - with the amazing love of Jesus Christ.  To do this, we need your help!

Please tell us how we can meet your needs or what sort of events and activities you'd like to see us sponsor.  We are open to ideas and constantly assess what doors God might be opening for ministry.  If you have thoughts or suggestions, we'd love to hear from you.
