Welcome To Missions Ministry

His Commission Our Passion

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

About Missions Ministry

About Us

WE ARE MISSIONS MINDED

First Baptist Church is a church that takes seriously Jesus' call to take the gospel message to our own community and around the world. Therefore we support missions at home and abroad by:

  • Giving out gospel literature to attendees of the two festivals that Chappell Hill Historical Society produces each year.
  • An annual mission to South Texas to do Vacation Bible Schools in Falcon Heights and surrounding areas.
  • Providing our church family with various mission opportunities both national and international.

We also support through the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program, Southern Baptist missions on the associational, state, national, and international mission field, which we look upon as our church tithe.
