Sunday Morning Bible Study

About Sunday Bible Study

Meet Every Sunday from 9:45 - 10:45

At First Baptist Church Chappell Hill, we're very passionate about the idea of growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. So we believe it's good for brothers and sisters in Christ to sit down and look deeply into the Word of God for direction, for wisdom, and for training in Christ's righteousness. Below you'll see several options for Sunday School classes to try. It's our prayer that the Lord will stir a desire in your heart to want to join in with us on the journey of knowing Christ and making Him known.

Open for Children from birth through 6th Grade

Our Sonshine Kids ministry takes the responsibility of partnering with parents to teach and care for your child seriously.  Our children’s ministry is designed to increase your child’s knowledge and understanding of God’s love.  Your child will be taught about the love of Jesus through Bible stories, songs, prayer, and Bible-learning activities.

Junior & High School Students - Meet in Youth Room

On Sunday mornings, our class is doing a chronological walk through the Old Testament with New Testament and present-day applications.

We meet on the same place on Wednesday evenings, to do a chronological walk through the New Testament with an emphasis on Discipleship.

Applications Class

Open for All -

Meets in the Parlor

In considering applications of scripture for daily living, we seek to show how each subject points us to the glory of God manifest in Christ Jesus. Devotions and topical studies in Scripture are open for discussion by all class participants. All adults are welcome!

Class 27:17

Open for All - Meets in the Fellowship Hall

The 27:17 class is studying scripture to better understand the foundations of our faith.  Through discussion, we seek to apply this understanding to the situations in our lives. The 27:17 class also prays for one another's requests and provides a relaxed environment to grow in fellowship together.
